Joyce Weiss Here are 40 killer phrases and reactions to avoid if you want to keep your employees motivated to thinking about and presenting new ideas. Otherwise, they will give up, and your office, department or entire company can become stagnant. Or, your employees may take their ideas to your boss or to your competitors.

And we don't want that to happen, do we?
