DJS International Services, Inc. is an independent, Texas-based customs brokerage and freight forwarding firm. Still family owned and operated, DJS offers full range of international logistics management solutions, delivered in flexible and customized service plans designed specifically for each client’s needs. With a worldwide network of strategic agent partners, DJS is uniquely positioned to provide importers and exporters with a distinct competitive advantage - superior global reach backed by a rarely found local touch.

David began earning his stripes at DJS in 1997, while earning a finance degree and completing a successful college baseball career at Texas Christian University. Under the guidance of DJS founder and father-in-law Darrell J. Sekin, Jr., David learned all aspects of the business, while adding a fresh perspective and keen management insight to the company.

Since that time, David has added a depth of knowledge to DJS that has served clients well. He is a licensed Customs Broker, and also holds the Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation. He maintains active involvement and leadership in industry associations, locally and nationally. He has served as vice president of the North Texas Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association (NTCBFFA). He currently serves on the Customs Committee of National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association (NCBFAA), an important liaison committee which works closely with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, keeping David at the forefront of helping to shape industry standards and navigate changes, and making him part of a strong national advocacy voice for the trade community.

Currently serving as President of the company, David continues to lead DJS with proven expertise and visionary guidance, as he and CFO wife Melissa continue the family legacy of service to the international trade community.
