Neal Creighton - co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Ratepoint

Neal has more than a decade of experience in information security, identity verification, web authentication and certification markets. Formally, as Co-founder, President and CEO of GeoTrust, Neal was responsible for providing the leadership, strategic direction and management for the company. Neal spearheaded GeoTrust's relaunch in 2001 when it acquired Equifax's security business, and strategically repositioned the company and its subsequent rapid growth. Neal led the efforts to raise $24 million in venture financing and sold GeoTrust to VeriSign (NASDAQ: VRSN) for $125 million in September 2006.

Neal also led the spin-off of ChosenSecurity from GeoTrust as part of the VeriSign merger agreement. Currently, Neal serves on the Board of Directors of ChosenSecurity and is the CEO of RatePoint, Inc. He is a noted expert in the identity verification / information security field and has been invited to speak at industry conferences to provide input to industry-related articles and reports. Neal considers graduating from U.S. Army Ranger School in 1990 his most meaningful professional experience.
