Known as the Branding Diva, Karen is a passionate entrepreneur, national speaker, branding consultant and stand-up comedian. She works with professionals, corporations, and organizations to “Land the Brand” by maximizing their impact through strategic positioning, effective communications and having fun. She has been featured by numerous media outlets including, Adweek, The Houston Chronicle, The Houston and Tampa Business Journals, Texas Monthly, NBC, ABC, FOX, and CBS News. In 1999 Karen co-founded and served as CEO of an Internet company. Her involvement spanned form concept development, fundraising, and site design to operations, merchandising, and marketing. From those experiences she authored a book called Lessons Learned, Dot.com or Not.com and is a contributing author to Confessions of Shameless Internet Promoters. Prior to that, Karen founded and built two successful businesses in the communications arena, generating more than $35 million in revenues. Working with a diverse client base for more than 18 years, she provided a full range of strategic communication services including research, public relations, advertising, marketing, and promotions.
