"Douglas Stives, CPA. Doug is the Partner & Tax Department Director at Curchin & Company, one of the largest CPA firms in Central New Jersey, with a 27 member staff. He is Past President of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. Doug received a Bachelor's degree in accounting in 1968 and an MBA from Lehigh University in 1969. He began his accounting career with Price Waterhouse and joined Curchin & Company in 1970. Doug is a frequent lecturer for several New Jersey organizations and serves as an instructor for various courses offered by the New Jersey Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of CPA’s. He has appeared on CNN, CNBC, MS/NBC, FOX, PBS, and all three major networks. He is also quoted frequently in publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Fortune, Money, Business Week, and USA Today. In 1989-90, Doug was President of the 14,000 member New Jersey Society of CPA’s, and in 1993 was a member of Gov. Whitman's Transition Team. Doug is currently a member of the Tax Division Executive Committee of the American Institute of CPA’s, as well as other professional organizations. "
