Jan Andersen

Jan Andersen has more than 15 years of experience in brand building, strategic communications, public affairs, sales strategies, political consulting and community relations. He has worked with companies in a number of diverse industries ranging from energy and online sales to tourism and entertainment, developing brand, marketing and public affairs strategies all over the United States and other parts of the world.

Prior to Pushup Social, Jan cofounded several other successful companies and was the Director of Public Affairs for Wind Capital Group, a wind energy developer, where he managed the company’s public relations, marketing and branding efforts, along with state government relations, community outreach and local permitting campaigns. During his time with Wind Capital Group, served on the American Wind Energy Associations Public Affairs Committee and as Treasurer for The Wind Coalition, the lobbying arm of the wind industry in 8+ states. Additional responsibilities included representing Wind Capital Group as spokesperson with various media and investor groups, assisting the Power Marketing Team, oversee the creative process for all marketing collateral, along with implementing local educational and giving programs across the country.

Jan is also the cofounder of Lab1500 and Ignition Tank.
