Rich Galen has been described as “what you get when you cross a political hack with a philosopher.” His career includes work in and out of politics, in and out of the United States. He has been press secretary to Dan Quayle, when the former Vice President was a Congressman and a U.S. Senator; and to Newt Gingrich when Gingrich was House Republican Whip. In 1992, Rich went to work for Electronic Data Systems as the Director of Marketing for EDS' Centers of Service unit, which had an annual turnover of approximately $1.1 Billion. After approximately six months, he was chosen to lead a new organization known as the Emerging Markets Group. Since, July 1999, Rich has added a three-day-a-week political column to his work week. That column, Mullings.com, reaches over 350,000 people per month and is considered required reading by senior political operatives on both sides of the aisle. He is a regular guest on Fox and has been a frequent guest on television shows on CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC. Rich has also appeared on the Today show, Good Morning America, Nightline and Larry King Live. |
