Laurel Delaney, is a speaker, educator, author and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in global business. Her firm, Global TradeSource, Ltd., offers global marketing, consulting and Web content providing services aimed toward entrepreneurs and small businesses. Her first book, “Start and Run a Profitable Exporting Business” (Self Counsel Press, 1998), was featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Journal of Commerce, Entrepreneur and Inc. She teaches M.B.A. International Marketing at Loyola University of Chicago. Ms. Delaney’s articles have appeared in Jane Applegate’s syndicated small business column that reaches 10 million people spanning across 50 newspapers. She serves on the International Editorial Advisory Board of the “Journal of International Entrepreneurship,” and on the Advisory Board of Women Entrepreneurs Inc. Recently, she was appointed Chicago chapter facilitator for Women Presidents' Organization . Ms. Delaney is the founder of Small Business Global Marketing Forum, a moderated discussion list for entrepreneurs and small businesses interested in going global. She holds an M.B.A. from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. |
