Ed Coffin

Ed Coffin is the founder and CEO of TXM. Prior to launching the company, he served as Export Manager and helped coordinate foreign trade for a major airline and its IT subsidiary. Ed holds multiple certifications in Export Licensing from the US Department of Commerce, Bureau of Export Administration and has completed American Bar Association training on export compliance and the Export Administration Regulations. He has experience in advanced information technologies, export administration and compliance, and planning. Ed serves on the Board of Directors of the Small Business Exporter's Association (SBEA). A former national director of NMA, Ed brings broad management perspectives to TXM's business services. He has also testified to Congress during the past year on export of services, the role of small business in U.S. exports, and provided input to the comprehensive set of Customs harmonization recommendations proposed by the U.S. to the WTO.
