Daniel Pink "Daniel Pink, contributing Editor at Fast Company magazine. Writing widely on politics, technology, pop culture, and the new economy, Dan's articles and essays have appeared in several national newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, the Columbia Journalism Review, The Washington Monthly, and George. His latest article, Free Agent Nation, chronicles the growing ranks of Americans who have abandoned traditional jobs and employers to work on their own. Reporting for the piece took Dan on a 7,000-mile, 100-interview journey across America. From 1995-97, Dan was chief speechwriter to Vice President Al Gore. In that position, he was the lead writer on all the Vice President's major domestic speeches. Prior to working at the White House, Dan served two years as speechwriter and special assistant to U.S. Secretary of Labor Robert Reich.. Before joining the Clinton-Gore Administration, he was an economic policy aide in the U.S. Senate and an issues and communications staffer for several Senate and Presidential campaigns."
