Joan has been with the Kiplinger company for nearly 10 years, and currently covers tax legislation and IRS regulations for The Kiplinger Tax Letter. Before joining Kiplinger, Joan was a reporter for The Bond Buyer for 10 years, covering the municipal bond market. She also was a reporter at the Bureau of National Affairs, a senior associate editor at Nation’s Business magazine, and an adjunct professor of journalism at American University. She received her M.A. in journalism from American University, and a B.A. in history and political science from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, N.Y. She and her husband live in Alexandria, VA. |
