Barbara Weltman, an attorney for over 30 years, has written many top-selling books for small businesses, including J.K. Lasser’s Small Business Taxes, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Starting a Home-Based Business, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Starting an eBay Business, and The Rational Guide to Building Small Business Credit. She is also a co-author of Small Business Survival Guide. She contributes to Inc.com, New York Enterprise Report, and PINK magazine, and is the online tax expert for Staples.com. Barbara is an adjunct at Manhattanville College, where she teaches Principles of Entrepreneurship. She has been featured on a number of radio stations as well as national television. She is quoted regularly in publications such as the New York Times, the Washington Post, and Boardroom newsletters.
